Our Warranty Commitment
During Days is committed to providing quality products and standing behind everything we sell. Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), contained in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
In addition to your statutory rights, During Days offers a voluntary 14-Day Money Back Guarantee on all products.
1. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to:
- A replacement or refund for a major failure
- Compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage resulting from a major failure
- A repair or replacement if goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure
These rights apply regardless of any additional warranty provided by During Days or a manufacturer.
2. During Days 14-Day Money Back Guarantee
All products sold by During Days are covered by a 14-day money back guarantee from the date of delivery. This covers:
- Dead on Arrival (DoA) — the product is faulty or damaged upon receipt
- Change of Mind — you have decided you no longer want the item
To be eligible, the product must be:
- Returned within 14 days of the delivery date
- In original, unused condition
- In original, undamaged packaging, including all accessories, manuals and documentation
During Days reserves the right to determine the most appropriate resolution (refund or replacement) based on the circumstances of the claim.
3. Manufacturer's Warranty
Beyond the 14-day period, products may be covered by the manufacturer's warranty as listed in the individual product description. Where no warranty period is stated in the product listing, only the 14-day money back guarantee applies.
Manufacturer's warranties cover manufacturing defects and production faults only. They do not cover:
- Damage caused by accident, misuse, improper installation, or neglect
- Normal wear and tear
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality
- Damage caused by operating the product outside its intended purpose or specifications
4. What Is Not Covered
No refund, credit or exchange will be provided in the following circumstances:
- The product has been damaged through misuse or use outside its intended purpose
- A defect was made known to you before purchase (e.g. clearly labelled as a second or clearance item)
- The 14-day money back guarantee has expired and the product is confirmed to match the description and be free of manufacturing defects
- The claim relates solely to a minor colour or shade variation due to monitor/screen display differences
5. Product Colour Disclaimer
Product images on our website are as accurate as possible. However, due to differences in screen resolution and display settings, the actual colour or finish of a product may vary slightly from what is shown online. Claims based solely on minor colour variation will not be accepted unless covered by the 14-day money back guarantee.
6. How to Make a Warranty Claim
To initiate a claim, please email hello@duringdays.com.au with the following:
- Proof of purchase — your tax invoice, order number or order confirmation email
- A clear description of the fault or issue
- Supporting evidence such as photographs or video showing the defect
- Your preferred resolution — replacement, repair, refund or credit
Our customer service team will review your claim and respond within 2–3 business days.
7. Returning a Product
Do not return any product without prior approval from our Customer Service Team. Unapproved returns may not be accepted.
Once a return is approved:
- The product must be returned within 14 calendar days of the approval date
- It must be securely packed in its original packaging, including all accessories, manuals and documentation
- You must include your order number inside the package
We reserve the right to inspect and test returned products. If a returned product is found to be in working order and the claim cannot be substantiated, the cost of return shipping (both to us and back to you) will be borne by the customer.
8. Refunds
Where a warranty claim is approved:
- Warranty claims: Full refund including all original delivery costs
- Non-warranty / change of mind claims: Refund of the product price only, excluding original and return shipping costs and any applicable restocking fee
Refunds will be processed to your original payment method. Please allow 3–7 business days for the refund to appear after we receive your returned product.
No refund or replacement will be issued until the returned product has been received and assessed.
9. Replacements
Where a replacement is agreed upon:
- Approved warranty claims: Replacement shipped at our expense once the returned product is received
- Non-warranty claims: Replacement shipped at the customer's expense
