The interior features volume markings, and the transparent lid has a small vent hole to release steam during heating and prevent overflow. Grease washes off with a single rinse; it can be washed by hand with a sponge or in the dishwasher. Compared to traditional metal pots, it is lightweight and free from the risk of coating peeling.
